She was raised along with three siblings, one brother and two sisters. Hungarian is her native language and she teaches it often to keep proficient. Bruckner was a Hollywood Californian was born into Hungarian parents and Russian mothers, who divorced. Her paternal grandmother was German. The daughter is of Hungary-born parents, who met in Hungary. The family immigrated into the U.S.A. through an Italian refugee camps in 1984. She has a sister and brother.
